The start of the fall semester means the start of the law school application cycle. Look around campus, and you’re sure to find colleagues studying for the LSAT, building lists of schools, and writing and rewriting their personal statements. Perhaps you’re embarking on that process yourself! Or you might be getting ready for next year’s cycle, or even just starting to explore an interest in the law.
Wherever you find yourself, Cornell’s Pre-Law Advising Team is here to support you on your journey to law school–or to somewhere else, if it turns out that law isn’t right for you! You’ll find pre-law advisors in the Central Career Services office in Barnes Hall, serving all Cornell students and alumni, as well as in most of the college-specific career offices around campus.
An advisor can help you create a plan for exploring the legal field, to take stock of what you discover, and, when you’re ready, to develop an application strategy and prepare your materials. Schedule an appointment today!
