This specialized exploration fair offered employers from across the consulting industry a chance to showcase their current and upcoming internship opportunities while connecting directly with students interested in learning about the consulting recruitment process. With a primary focus on first- and second-year students, the fair was open to undergraduates from all majors and colleges, providing an inclusive space to explore pathways into the field of consulting.

Seven of our key employer partners participated in this year’s event: Accenture, AlphaSights, ClearView Healthcare Partners, Cornerstone Research, EY, PwC, and Wood Mackenzie. Together, they offered students firsthand insights into the variety of work that defines modern consulting—from management and financial advisory to healthcare and energy strategy.

The fair attracted 458 students, highlighting strong interest in consulting and the value of early career exploration. With 22% first-year and 29% sophomore participation—and the remaining attendees made up of juniors, seniors, master’s, and doctoral students— we hope the fair supported students in building career confidence while giving employers a chance to connect with emerging talent and strengthen ties with the Cornell community.

Looking ahead, the Cornell Career Network remains dedicated to providing tailored experiences like this—designed to help students explore the diverse intersections within consulting career pathways and prepare for success in a highly competitive industry.
