A consulting case interview is a simulated business problem presented during the interview process. The candidate must walk through their thinking process and propose a recommendation (or recommendations) to “solve” the client’s challenge. During the interview, the candidate is evaluated on the following:
- Structured thinking and logical decomposition
- Quantitative and analytical ability
- Business judgment and creativity
- Communication clarity and persuasiveness
- Flexibility / adaptability when new information is introduced
