“I always knew I was interested in healthcare and public health, but the area I have worked in has evolved a lot over the years. After graduating from Cornell, I worked in the non-profit space at Planned Parenthood, and then decided to go back to graduate school with a focus in policy. I received my MPH in Health Policy from the Harvard School of Public Health. After graduating, I worked for four years in the Massachusetts state government at an agency called CHIA (Center for Health Information and Analysis) doing Medicaid pricing, where I really refined my data skills. After that, I knew I wanted to gain some experience in the private sector as well. My current job is at Devoted Health, a growing Medicare Advantage plan and healthcare company where I provide analytic and policy support to help guide company decisions.”
