The New York City Department of Environmental Protection is looking for bright and motivated interns that interested in preserving and protecting the NYC water supply and making the city more sustainable. Interns receive in-depth work experience that supports core functions as well as a broad overview of DEP responsibilities and operations through site visits, seminars, and projects.
The NYC DEP is offering paid and unpaid undergraduate and graduate opportunities in a variety of roles including areas like science and engineering, software development, budgeting, and human resources. Most positions do not require NYC residency. Students that are interested in a position should apply as soon as possible, as applications are often reviewed on a rolling basis.
