Recruitment for the Cornell University Hearing and Review Panel (UHRP) is underway!
The UHRP is composed of students, faculty, and staff who work together to adjudicate Formal Complaints under the Student Code of Conduct (Code). UHRP members participate in all aspects of the formal hearing process, including reviewing the investigative record and report, listening to testimony, asking questions of students and witnesses, reviewing facts, deliberating with other panel members, and voting to determine responsibility and sanctions, if appropriate.
This year there is a particularly high number of student and faculty openings. Anyone interested in joining the UHRP may apply using this form. Applications are due by 11:59pm ET on Monday, April 27, 2026.
To nominate someone else whom you feel would be a good fit for this opportunity, please complete the brief nomination form. Nominations are welcome across all three categories (students, faculty, staff). Submitting a nomination does not obligate the individual to apply and is simply an invitation for consideration.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Karen Vicks, Hearing Panel Chair, at kgv27@cornell.edu.
