The 2026-27 application for the Graduate School Opportunity Fund (formerly the “GAPS Fund”) is now open! This fund supports Cornell undergraduates who plan to apply to graduate and professional degree programs, including law school, medical school, PhD and MA/MS programs, and more.
Grants of up to $1,000 are available to help cover test prep and registration costs, application fees, and certain travel expenses. Current Cornell undergraduates who intend to apply to a graduate program in the next twelve months are eligible to apply.
For more information and to apply, see the website! The 2026-27 form will remain open until June 30, 2027, and applications may be submitted at any time before then.
