Beyond the H-1B: Preparing for Work Visa Alternatives

Recent U.S. policy updates, such as the H-1B executive order and the weighted lottery, have left many international students unsure about work visa prospects after graduation. Students can adapt to ongoing policy changes by preparing for H-1B alternatives, such as self-sponsored, intracompany transfer, and entrepreneurship visas. This webinar features immigration attorneys Dan Berger, partner at Green & Spiegel LLP, and Carolyn Lee, principal and founder of Carolyn Lee PLLC, who will focus on preparation strategies that international students can begin implementing to build their future applicant profile and improve their eligibility for diverse visa paths. This workshop will be recorded and posted to the Cornell Career Services Website on the International page under videos. Students in need of accommodations can email ef434@cornell.edu. Please submit your request at least 2 business days before the event. Zoom registration is required. Co-sponsored by International Services
