Thursday, March 27, 4pm to 8pm
Presented by Cornell Career Services and the Graduate School
This year’s program includes:
- An overview of research-focused graduate education (i.e. MA/MS and PhD programs)
- An in-depth workshop on the components of the application process, led by The Graduate School
- A workshop on “Telling Your Story” as a graduate school applicant, led by Cornell Career Services
- A panel discussion, featuring current Cornell graduate students
- Handouts, resources, and plenty of time for questions
- A catered dinner
Join us to meet fellow prospective students, hear from experts from around campus, eat good food, and come away with the foundation you need to craft competitive graduate school applications.
The Grad School Prep Lab is designed for Cornell undergraduates from all backgrounds and majors who are planning to apply to research-based master’s and doctoral programs (i.e. MA/MS, PhD, etc.). This program is not intended for those interested in professional degree programs (e.g., JD, MBA, MD, DVM, etc.). If you are considering a professional degree, connect with a CCS Pre-Graduate Advisor today!
Because space is limited, priority will be given to juniors and seniors who are seriously considering or actively planning to apply to graduate programs. We welcome applications in particular from students who would be the first in their families to attend graduate school and/or with backgrounds and identities that are underrepresented in graduate study.
If you have any questions, please contact Alex Jablonski, Assistant Director for Pre-Law and Pre-Graduate Advising in Cornell Career Services, at aj486@cornell.edu.
