Overview of MLT Career Prep
As a college student, the path to figuring out your passion and graduating with a job offer can feel overwhelming. MLT’s Career Prep (CP) program provides emerging student leaders who have experienced inequitable access to career-accelerating resources. This includes a winning professional playbook, 20+ months of programming, personalized coaching, and a supportive network of over 11,000 MLT Alumni.
MLT Career Prep will help you gain critical skills not taught in classrooms, cultivate personal clarity, and connect with top employers for potential internships and full-time roles. MLT programs are open to all who meet the criteria, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, or other demographic identity.

Eligibility FAQs
- College sophomore graduating in
- Fall 2028, Spring 2029, Summer 2029-including July and August of 2029
- U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident (includes DACA participants)
- Earning a bachelor’s degree in a four-year accredited college/university
- While there is no minimum GPA required, competitive applicants have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Career interest in Business or Technology (but we accept all majors)
- Demonstrated commitment to MLT’s mission
- Lived experience with inequitable access to career accelerating resources
- Ability to complete monthly assignments and attend all virtual or in-person seminars required for the completion of the program
