Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) has furthered its mission of closing racial wealth gaps by helping thousands of Black, Latine, and Native American college students gain fast-track jobs at industry-leading companies.

Career Prep is a rigorous, 20-month career development program for emerging student leaders who have experienced inequitable access to career-accelerating resources, including Black, Hispanic, Native American, and other students. Through the program, Fellows explore their strengths, passions, and interests in order to prepare and plan for successful careers in business and tech.

The Career Prep Program includes:

  • Individualized and group career development coaching
  • Exposure and access to over 60 prestigious employers
  • Skill development seminars hosted virtually and around the country
  • Alumni network of over 8,000 professionals (and growing!)

Eligibility for Career Prep Class of 2028

  • College sophomore graduating in Fall 2027, Spring 2028, Summer 2028-including July and August of 2028
  • U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident (includes DACA participants)
  • Earning a bachelor’s degree in a four-year accredited college/university
  • While there is no minimum GPA required, competitive applicants have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
  • Career interest in Business or Technology (but we accept all majors)
  • Demonstrated commitment to MLT’s mission
  • Lived experience with inequitable access to career accelerating resources
  • Ability to complete monthly assignments and attend all virtual or in-person seminars required for the completion of the program
