Job Title: Office Coordinator Intern

About the Role

Anderson Law is seeking an energetic and organized Office Coordinator Intern to support our team in the heart of Manhattan. This internship is designed for a current student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in the daily operations of a fast-paced boutique law firm. You will serve as the “first impression” of our office while providing essential logistical support to our attorneys and administrative staff.

Compensation & Logistics

Pay: $20 – $25 per hour

Type: Internship (Part-Time or Full-Time availability considered)

Location: On-site at 104 West 27th Street, 11th Floor, New York, NY

Environment: A collaborative, professional law firm dedicated to excellence and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities

Front of House & Hospitality

First Impressions: Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and warmth; manage the front desk area to ensure it is tidy and welcoming.

Communication: Answer incoming calls, take detailed messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members.

Office Operations & Logistics

Inventory Management: Monitor office and pantry supplies, restock as needed, and assist with ordering to ensure the team has what they need.

Space Maintenance: assist in keeping conference rooms and common areas organized and client-ready.

Administrative Support

Mail & Correspondence: Assist with sorting incoming mail and preparing outgoing packages (FedEx, UPS, USPS).

Digital Organization: Help scan, copy, and file documents to support the transition to digital record-keeping.

Team Projects: Provide ad-hoc support to the Office Administrator and legal teams on special projects as they arise.

Qualifications

Education: Current undergraduate student or recent graduate.

Communication: Strong verbal and written English skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and a knack for organization.

Attitude: Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn; no task is too small.

Bonus Points: Previous customer service or office experience, or an interest in the legal field.
