Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is actively seeking a highly qualified Staff Software Developer for software development for the Intelligence and Defense communities. The candidate assists senior software engineers with routine assignments using an AGILE process. Applies fundamental knowledge of operating systems and programming languages. Works on well-defined problems and learns under direct supervision. Possesses sufficient writing skills to prepare and generate technical reports and other documentation pertinent to the position.

Staff Software Developer Required Qualifications:
* Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance. TS/SCI clearance preferred
* BS in Computer Science / Mathematics / Physics / Engineering / Information Technology along with 2-4 years of experience
* Strong foundation in software development and experience with one or more of the following: Typescript, Python, Java, JavaScript, C++ and Golang, and React
* Demonstrated experience going from problem statement to prototype to production-ready algorithms
* Team player with excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills

Staff Software Developer Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience with one or more of the following:
