We are seeking highly motivated and organized program development interns to support our nonprofit’s mission by assisting in the creation and management of new initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our board members to assist in research and analysis, website updates, and provide ad hoc administrative support. The role provides hands-on experience in nonprofit management, project planning, and development while allowing the interns to contribute meaningfully to the organization’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resource Collection: Research and synthesize data and career development materials of various ADR professions for the virtual hub.
  • Program Design and Planning: Assisting in the development of new programs by helping to define goals, objectives, and implementation strategies.
  • Grant Writing and Fundraising Support: Helping with the preparation of grant proposals or fundraising efforts, which are crucial for nonprofit program funding.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assisting with scheduling, documentation, and other logistical aspects that support program execution.

Requirements

  • No educational requirement but a strong interest in alternative dispute resolution is preferred
  • Research Skills: Strong ability to identify, evaluate, and curate high-quality resources.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), digital libraries, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Experience in accounting and graphic design is a plus.

About the organization:

Early Career ADR Network (ECADRN) is an early-stage nonprofit organization dedicated to equipping new conflict resolution professionals with essential skills while prioritizing diversity and accessibility. Our goal is to support the next generation of conflict resolution neutrals in entering and navigating the alternative dispute resolution industry (ADR) by providing a premier hub and career toolkit. This includes roadmaps, mentorship opportunities, and centralized resources from existing organizations to address the unique challenges of starting a career in ADR.
