Overview:
We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing a wide range of structural and agriculture-related products to meet customer specifications. This role requires strong 3D design software skills, the ability to manage complex projects, and a passion for developing innovative, cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in project meetings to understand customer needs and requirements.
Coordinate with engineers to complete projects and produce accurate drawings.
Create building blueprints, layouts, and construction details using CAD software.
Develop new components and products using 3D modeling tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Tekla, or similar).
Review and verify engineering drawings for accuracy and adherence to standards.
Provide practical and creative design solutions that improve performance and reduce costs.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to refine and enhance product designs.
Manage multiple design projects while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
Support department metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Tekla, or other 3D rendering/design software.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and customer service abilities.
Detail-oriented, results-driven, and adaptable to workflow changes.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex projects.
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Drafting, Design Technology, or related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in product or structural design preferred.
Proven record of reliability and professional conduct.
