Grace Design Studios

About the Internship

Our 10-week Summer Internship Program offers students the opportunity to gain real-world experience in architecture and interior design within a collaborative studio environment. Interns will work closely with project teams, gaining exposure to all phases of design and project delivery — from concept development and client presentations to documentation and material selection.

This is a hands-on, mentorship-driven internship designed for students eager to explore the professional practice of architecture and interior design.

Responsibilities

  • Assist design teams with concept development, research, and presentations
  • Assist with setting up project files and drawing sets utilizing firm standards
  • Participate in design, studio critiques, and project meetings
  • Support the production of drawings, renderings, and models
  • Assist with the Construction Administration phase
  • Contribute to material library organization and sample sourcing
  • Gain exposure to project coordination, sustainability practices, and design documentation

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design
  • Completed at least two years of design coursework
  • Proficient in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD , SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam and/or Enscape
  • Strong design sensibility, visual communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Collaborative mindset, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning
  • Available to work full-time during the summer internship period
