Position Overview:

As a Web Designer Intern at Kingdom Culture Agency, you will be responsible for designing, updating, and optimizing websites that align with client vision, business goals, and brand identity. You will collaborate with the creative, strategy, and development teams to create high-performing websites for service-based businesses, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and partners within The Kingdom. This role requires strong design sense, attention to detail, and the ability to translate brand messaging into clean, functional web experiences.

Tier 1: Compensation – $400

Web Design Goals:

Complete at least 1–2 website projects or major page updates (landing pages, service pages, homepage refreshes).

Deliver designs that meet minimum standards for layout, usability, and brand consistency.

Submit work within established deadlines.

Follow creative direction and wireframes provided by project leads.

Skills:

Learn and apply fundamentals of web design (layout, hierarchy, spacing, responsiveness).

Understand brand identity and apply it consistently across websites.

Gain proficiency in web design platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, or similar).

Basic understanding of UX/UI principles.

Tier 2: Compensation – $800

Web Design Goals:

Complete at least 3–4 website projects or full site builds.

Ensure all websites are client-ready, mobile-responsive, visually polished, and conversion-focused.

Provide creative input on layout, navigation, and user experience.

Deliver web projects within agreed-upon timelines.

Skills:

Implement intermediate web design techniques (custom layouts, CMS structuring, page speed optimization basics).

Collaborate effectively with developers, brand designers, copywriters, and strategists.

Apply SEO-friendly design practices (site structure, heading hierarchy, page optimization).

Consistently meet or exceed expectations for design quality and client satisfaction.

Tier 3: Compensation – $1200

Web Design Goals:

Complete at least 5–6 high-quality website builds or advanced redesigns.

Execute complex web projects (multi-page sites, service funnels, integrations, booking forms, lead capture systems).

Take ownership of web projects from initial wireframe to final launch.

Contribute to overall creative direction with strategic design decisions that drive engagement and conversions.

Skills:

Master advanced web design techniques (UX strategy, accessibility standards, performance optimization, conversion design).

Proactively suggest improvements to website workflows, templates, and design systems.

Set the standard for web design excellence within The Kingdom.

Ability to design scalable websites that support long-term brand growth.

Payment Terms:

Compensation will be provided at the end of the internship/project, after the completion of the agreed-upon number of web design deliverables per tier.

Web Designers must submit work for approval at each milestone. Payment will be released upon successful completion and approval.

Additional Notes:

Feedback & Reviews: After each milestone, constructive feedback will be provided.

Team Collaboration: Expected to participate in strategy sessions, creative reviews, and cross-team projects.

Innovation: Web Designers should push creativity, explore new design trends, and build sites that elevate both client brands and The Kingdom’s digital presence.
