Entry Level Accounting Position – AR/AP

We are seeking to add a member to our fantastic accounting team. This individual should be professional, reliable, flexible and proactive. This is an in office position. Office ours are Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. Attendance and punctuality are key.
Great customer service skills are a must as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Word. Must be adept at learning new computer software. Experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable is preferred.
The essential duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Daily processing of payables and receivables (check, verify and process invoices)
- Help maintaining vendor relationships
- Maintaining a high level of customer service
- Monthly processing of contract charges (prepare, maintain and file)
- Answering phones and returning voicemail messages.
- Investigating questionable data
- Processing 1099s at end of year
- Special projects and other administrative support duties as needed
Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent computer skills, specifically Word and Xcel.
- Comfortable learning proprietary software
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Able to multi-task, work as a team player and work independently
- Must have attention to detail and organization skills
- Background or studies in AP/AR is a plus
