Wilderness Cook The Eagle Quest cook is responsible for one of the most memorable aspects of any youth camp—the food. The cook is primarily responsible for customary food preparation. The cook assists the Summer Kitchen Manager in preparing meals, keeping the kitchen stocked and inventoried, maintaining a clean guest and kitchen environment, and managing special on-trail food drops or meals.

Wilderness Guides Do you REALLY love outdoor adventure? Wilderness Guides are in charge of a camper’s entire trip and spiritual development within the wilderness. Guides learn to be proficient in backpacking as well as camp activities, first aid, risk management, and group facilitation. Guides participate in every part of the wilderness program; when not with campers they’ll cook meals, make camp a better place, set up activities, and generally do whatever it takes to make the wilderness program run.
