TECHNICAL DIRECTOR – Peninsula Players Theatre in Door County, WI, America’s oldest professional resident summer theatre, celebrates its 90th season in 2025. The five-show summer stock season requires candidates to be able to handle quick scenic builds and changeovers. An ideal candidate is energetic and motivated to manage the Peninsula Players Theatre’s high production values and the scene shop staff of three staff carpenters and three interns. The Technical Director is responsible for planning, engineering, and installing the designed scenic elements on time. The staff arrival date on campus is May 18th, 2025. Departure date is either after the fifth show opens on September 4th, or after the final production closes and the property is closed down on October 21st. The rate for this position is $850 – $950 per week, based on skills and experience. Travel stipend provided. All positions are housed on property, at no cost.
