Sandy Feet Initiative Internship Program
Sandy Feet Initiative is a volunteer-based organization where the siblings of children with special needs receive recognition and support through beach-based programs.
We provide weeklong and after-school beach camps which provide a safe place for siblings to learn, have fun and meet other kids who also know what it is like to have a sibling with special needs. The safe and instructional beach events include yoga, water play such as surfing and boogie boarding, beach clean-up, and open discussion about their shared experiences!
We are seeking interns that are interested in learning about a program/non-profit to help with their career choices. An intern will be expected to complete a fall or spring program OR complete two weeks of summer camp. Interns must be 18 years old or older. Internships could lead to a paid position as well.
Our camps take place in San Clemente, Huntington Beach and San Diego. Our interns will be expected to play, have fun, and bring great energy to the beach. This internship will benefit anyone working towards a teaching, therapy, or recreation degree, a field in Non-Profit work, and much more.
