The 3D Artist utilizes a creative and technical design skill set within a fast-paced, collaborative environment to support turning artistic concepts into functional 3D digital models representing required equipment, framing, and finish of a set or media asset.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Turn concepts into designs, receiving direction with specific artistic and technical requirements from the Stakeholders (i.e.: Director/Producer/Artistic Director/Assistant Artistic Director) to develop digital 3D models from 2D concepts for scenes and set pieces.
- Work collaboratively with other creative and technical team members and departments to come up with the best solution for the final execution.
- Employ a workflow of mixed media and multiple software platforms such as Blender, Zbrush, and Photoshop.
- Ability to proficiently use techniques such as modeling, sculpting, texturing and mapping in 3D software such as Blender and Maya.
- Assist in the design of 3D media assets to be used in Unreal/Unity game engine.

- Able to work collaboratively on shared projects, passing duties between partners
- Light-hearted, flexible, adaptable, teachable, focused, driven and possess the ability to handle critique of work.
- Possess self-disciplined work habits, breaking down complex projects into smaller segments and accomplishing tasks within given timelines and deadlines.
- Demonstrate the ability to think, visualize and work in digital 3D space, working within specific space requirements and to-scale.
- Must be proficient with both Macs and PCs.
- Strong architectural and mechanical knowledge is required.
Plan to submit a current digital portfolio with a variety of professional work examples.
Qualifications
Education: Associates or better.
Experience: 2-5 years Digital Modeling and Sculpting
