We are looking for juniors and seniors in college, graduate, and law students seeking internships and these student are required to be gaining their degree in one year or less in the following related fields:
- Bachelors Degree, with a concentration in criminal justice, legal studies, pre-law, paralegal studies, business administration, political science, economics, English, and or related field, (academic transcription required)
- Master Degree, with a concentration in business administration ,business management, political science, legal studies, philosophy, law, and or related field. (academic transcription required)
- Juris Doctorate, with a concentration in general studies or practice, business, family, criminal, or tort law. (academic transcription required) The Firm is only accepting second year law students or third year law students with internship and externship requirements.
Qualifications, skills, and experiences required to secure internship:
- Innovate value to the team, even though we are a smaller general practice firm, we are extremely busy, yet, efficient, consistent, and adequate with providing legal representation to our clients and community.
- Able to learn quickly and comprehend social cues, and be not afraid to probe and ask questions to your superior legal staff and or site supervisor.
- Dedicated to being a efficient, consistent, and adequate intern by demonstrating quality work. Professional entire is a mandatory, while being on-site.
- The Firm is only accepting second year law students, 2Ls, or 3Ls with internship and externship requirements.
- The Firm is only accepting juniors and seniors earning their Bachelors or Master Degree with internship, externship, and aims to gain more experience to further their career and or law journey.
- 135 to 270 total hours expected to be perform on-site, which is applicable to 3-6 academic credits for approved internship performance.
- 135 to 270 total hours expected for the 12 week internship program is required to have 11 hours minimum to 22.5 hours maximum a week of approved internship hours signed off by the site supervisor or the internship’s staff manager located on site.
- GPA requirement: all students are required to have a 3.0 overall Grade Point Average. (Transcription verification required)
- Punctuality is mandatory for all members of our team. ( 1 personal reference and 2 professional references, whom may verify your punctuality, skills, and work experience.)
- Skills: Interpersonal, communication, active listening, computer skills are required and expected for this internship.
