Location: Boston, MA (in-person)

About The Goldman Group

The Goldman Group is a Boston-based real estate investment, development, and management firm with over 80 years of industry experience. We specialize in transforming existing structures into high-end residential and mixed-use properties, with a strong focus on adaptive reuse and historic redevelopment. Our in-house teams are involved in every stage of a property’s lifecycle—from acquisition through design, construction, leasing, and asset management. As we breathe new life into underutilized buildings, we’re proud to deliver lasting value to our communities.

Position Overview

The Goldman Group is seeking a creative and driven Social Media Intern to join our in-house team and help elevate our brand presence online. This is a part-time, in-person internship based out of our Walpole, MA office.

You’ll work closely with our marketing and development teams to craft compelling content that showcases our real estate projects, historic transformations, and company culture. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student or recent graduate with a passion for digital storytelling, real estate, and historic preservation to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms
  • Draft and schedule weekly/daily posts using social media management tools
  • Capture and edit on-site photos and short videos of project milestones
  • Monitor engagement metrics and report on campaign performance
  • Research social media trends and recommend new ideas or formats
  • Support the development of branded templates and graphics
  • Assist with light copywriting for email newsletters and blog posts
  • Collaborate with the design and development teams to align messaging

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, media studies, design, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
Creative eye for visual content and attention to detail
  • Basic photography and video editing skills
  • Interest in real estate, design, or historic buildings is a plus
Self-starter with excellent time management and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Pay: $18–$22
  • Flexible schedule
  • Mentorship from experienced professionals in real estate development and design
  • Opportunity to build your portfolio with real-world content
  • Potential to grow into a part-time or full-time role
