I am a recent graduate of the Environment & Sustainability program at Cornell University, with a concentration in Land, Air, and Water resources. I enjoy outdoor fieldwork and research, and have experience in both forest and coastal wetland ecology. I am particularly passionate about evaluating how conservation management decisions affect other organisms within the same ecosystem. My previous work includes evaluating how the Ash Protection Experiment at the Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest has impacted red trillium reproduction and examining coastal methane emissions at the Robert Findley Wildlife Reserve following the installation of a drainage to allow for shorebird roosting. I have brief experience examining LiDAR point clouds to analyze cross-sectional areas of slashwalls installed at Arnot Forest and a short introduction to the challenges of modernizing Americas energy grid. I would love to gain more experience with wetland remediation, environmental field work, environmental legislation and permitting, and renewable energy.
