Hi, my name is Elisa Kelly. I am passionate about using quantitative analysis and problem-solving to tackle challenges across various industries. With a strong foundation in data science, I am eager to explore opportunities in fields such as healthcare, finance, media, entertainment, hospitality, beauty, fashion, and more. My curiosity drives me to use data to innovate and optimize practices in these dynamic sectors. In healthcare, I have experience conducting research for an insurance clearinghouse and working as a Summer Undergraduate Research intern with the NSF BioXFEL Program. During my internship, I analyzed microfluidic devices to understand chemical reaction processes, collected performance metrics, explored new applications, including those related to the COVID-19 virus in 2021, and presented my findings at a conference. I am also fascinated by the intersection of data analysis and finance, intrigued by how data-driven decision-making can transform strategies and drive innovation across industries. Outside of my studies, I actively promote diversity and inclusivity in STEM as a committee member of the Society of Women Engineers and a participant in the Undergraduate Represented Minorities in Computing (URMC) group. I also enjoy playing volleyball, which helps me develop teamwork skills. I am currently seeking opportunities that align with my interests in data science, healthcare, finance, and exploring new industries.
