I grew up in Reno, Nevada and earned an undergraduate degree in labor relations from Cornell. After several years of human resources management work with a Fortune 100 company, I attended law school at Syracuse University. I returned to Nevada in 1997 to begin my legal career and raise my two sons. Prior to joining the Commission on Ethics, I worked for the Nevada Department of Education, where I directed a statewide communication campaign as the agency’s first public information officer. I started my state service in the Office of the Governor in 2011, where I worked as a senior policy analyst for Governor Sandoval.
