Hi, I’m Kathy! I recently earned my Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering, where I developed a deep passion for user- centered design in healthcare, spanning medical devices, hospital design, and patient education. Through my research in biomedical engineering, human-centered design, and engineering education, I keep returning to one central question: How should healthcare innovations be designed to best support the long-term well-being of end users? As I explore entrepreneurship in veterinary health, I hope to answer this question for dogs with mitral valve disease (MVD) by developing innovative solutions to improve their care and outcomes. Let’s Connect! If you’re a veterinary professional and have experience treating MVD in dogs, I’d love to hear from you!
