For as long as I can remember, I have been speaking up for issues and causes that I believe in. When I was growing up, my mom used to tease me that I was like Muhammad Ali or Martin Luther King Jr. since I was always ready to advocate for something that mattered to me. That early passion for advocacy became the foundation of my career in strategic communications, reproductive rights and LGBTQ advocacy, and storytelling. For more than 15 years, I’ve partnered with nonprofits, philanthropic organizations, and coalitions to advance equity-centered narratives and mobilize communities through powerful storytelling, earned media, and public engagement.

I’m at my best when:

• Shaping and executing programmatic and communications strategies that align with clear organizational goals and values while amplifying underrepresented voices
• Serving as a trusted media liaison and coalition builder, bridging relationships between grassroots advocates, national partners, and the press
• Creating content ecosystems, from op-eds and talking points to social media campaigns, that strengthen public education and inspire action

My career began with the U.S. Peace Corps, where I developed a deep commitment to cross-cultural communication and social justice. Since then, I’ve led communications efforts that:

• Elevated reproductive health and justice advocacy across Texas
• Strengthened national LGBTQ+ media visibility
• Amplified the efforts of coalitions during critical legislative moments
• Increased engagement across diverse digital platforms I bring creativity, clarity, and a collaborative spirit to every project and role I take on.

Whether directing a crisis communications plan, mentoring emerging talent, or aligning stakeholders around a unified brand voice, I help organizations tell their story with purpose and impact.
