I trained as a dentist in India, where prevention was supposed to be the whole point. But the more patients I saw, the more I realized that most preventive health advice assumes people simply need more information. In reality, people are tired, busy, distracted, overwhelmed, and human. That question has shaped my work since: how do we make prevention easier to follow in real life?I recently graduated from Cornell University with a Master of Public Health, concentrating in Infectious Disease Epidemiology. My work has moved across clinical care, health communication, qualitative research, program evaluation, and early-stage health innovation. At Cornell, I founded Cerebrush, a behavior-first smart toothbrush built through Rev: Ithaca Startup Works. It uses short, personalized audio experiences to make brushing feel less like a chore and more like a small moment people might actually look forward to.I have also worked on public health toolkits, school-based nutrition evaluation, COVID-19 misinformation, oral health access research, and projects that translate evidence into something people can use.I’m interested in prevention, behavior, communication, and the gap between what public health recommends and what real life allows.
