Melissa is the Director of Planning for the City of Florence, Alabama. She oversees the development of city projects, from ideation through to construction. These projects can include any new construction, from parks to power plants. Using a classical approach to planning set forth by King Philip II in 1573, Melissa and her team work to create and maintain a vibrant city for people to live in.
