Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Security & Low-Voltage Field Technician to perform targeted troubleshooting, wiring inspection, and component testing for a Honeywell VISTA 21IP security alarm system experiencing motion sensor false alarms. The ideal candidate will be skilled in security system diagnostic testing, cable termination, console serial connection troubleshooting, and RMA return handling. Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work- System Diagnostics & Inspection: Inspect Honeywell VISTA 21IP panel for faults, tamper alerts, and error codes; test keypads, door/window contacts, motion sensors, wiring integrity, and power/battery status.Communication & Testing: Verify cellular/IP/POTS communication paths and execute full system arming/disarming zone tests. Hardware & RMA Processing: Remove designated faulty hardware on-site, box the device, attach the provided return shipping label, and drop off the package at a nearby courier location with full photo documentation.Remote Team Support: Communicate and coordinate continuously with the remote technical team via WhatsApp, and join remote bridge sessions (TeamViewer, Teams, or WebEx) using a serial console connection when required.
