Role Overview
As a Financial Analyst, you’ll work closely with finance, operations, and leadership teams to analyze financial performance and turn financial data into actionable business insights.
You’ll support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and financial modeling while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-growing SaaS environment.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze financial data, trends, and business performance
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Prepare financial models, reports, and management dashboards
- Perform variance analysis between actual results, budgets, and forecasts
- Monitor revenue, operating expenses, and key financial metrics
- Support cash flow analysis and financial forecasting
- Assist with financial planning and scenario analysis
- Collect and validate financial data from multiple sources
- Prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Leadership teams
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and supporting analysis
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 0–1 year of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, Accounting, Business Analysis, or a related field
- Internship, academic project, or relevant hands-on experience is welcome
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Good understanding of financial statements and accounting fundamentals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP
- Basic understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work with large datasets and organize financial information effectively
Nice to Have
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Familiarity with SQL and financial data analysis
- Exposure to financial systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Knowledge of SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, churn, and gross margin
- Familiarity with financial modeling and scenario analysis
- Progress toward CFA, CPA, CMA, or similar certification
- Internship experience in Finance, FP&A, Investment Banking, Consulting, or a technology company
- Experience working with AI, SaaS, or technology businesses
