About the Opportunity
Hemmy Productions is looking for a creative and technically minded student or recent graduate to help us develop a new animated homepage experience for our entertainment production company website.
This is a hands-on project for someone interested in WordPress, web animation, motion design, interactive websites, or creative front-end development.
Our homepage currently features an animated visual sequence, and we are looking for someone who can recreate and improve the animation as a clean, modern web experience while maintaining the creative vision of the existing design.
This is not simply a website-maintenance internship. You’ll be working on a visible creative project that will become part of a real entertainment production company’s website.
What You’ll Work On
- Recreate the existing homepage animation as a modern web animation
- Develop a smooth, visually engaging animation for the Hemmy Productions homepage
- Work within WordPress to implement the animation
- Explore the best approach for creating the animation using WordPress-compatible tools and web technologies
- Make sure the animation works properly across desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Improve animation timing, transitions, movement, and overall visual presentation
- Collaborate directly with the producer on the creative direction
- Test the animation and refine it based on feedback
- Help create a solution that is reliable, maintainable, and visually polished
Who We’re Looking For
We’re especially interested in students or recent graduates with an interest in one or more of the following:
- WordPress
- Web animation
- Motion design
- Interactive web design
- Front-end development
- HTML/CSS
- JavaScript
- UI/UX
- Graphic design
- Animation or digital media
- Creative technology
You do not need to be an expert in everything listed above. We’re interested in someone who is creative, curious, willing to experiment, and excited about building something they can actually put in their portfolio.

You’ll also work directly with the producer, so there is an opportunity to have a real creative voice in how the final animation looks and functions.
Schedule
We’re very flexible with student schedules and understand that school comes first. The internship can be structured around your classes and other academic commitments.
