Former Product Lead and domain expert for the Online Safety product pillar at Google One, building advanced privacy and security features for our users, leading a team of 2 Product Managers, 50+ Engineers, and 10+ UX (design, research, content).
Led the successful acquisition of a startup into the Google One Product Area. Pitched and received funding for a ~$5M startup in Area 120, Google’s internal incubator, to help users protect themselves online. Led the entire product lifecycle to launch multiple iterations of the product, learning and iterating rapidly, taking the project from 0 to 1 and acquisition within 8 months.
Program Lead in Google’s Enterprise Threat Management team detects, assesses, and mitigates security risk to Alphabet. I led a team of program managers to accomplish this mission.
Rebuilt the Cybercrime Investigation Group, responsible for conducting world-wide cyber and fraud investigations into significant cyber criminals that impact any product or user across the company.
Leading cyber investigator and expert in the US Government; acted as the lead case agent in the largest criminal money laundering case indicted by the Department of Justice against the digital currency Liberty Reserve; and the largest cyber intrusion of a U.S. financial institution in history ending with the dismantling of two transnational criminal organizations.
Planned protective operations on over 30 protective advances of domestic protectees and foreign dignitaries including the U.S. President, Vice President, and high risk foreign heads of state.
Served on over 200 missions internationally and domestically as a member of the elite Counter Assault Team, responsible for providing tactical team support for the President.
Served as platoon leader, executive officer (company & battalion), and company commander responsible for the leading, training, welfare, logistical support, and combat performance of soldiers in units ranging in size from 40 to 1,000 soldiers in diverse and challenging environments including 2 deployments to Afghanistan with over 100 combat missions.
Received prestigious awards for exceptional performance as a Special Agent including the 2016 Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Call to Service Award, USSS Special Agent of the Year, and the Department of Homeland Security Exceptional Service Gold Medal.
