ABOUT THE JOB
Join our Seattle Housing studio for hands-on, in-person experience on a live project moving into punch walks. You’ll be on-site walking the project, checking work against the drawings, and seeing firsthand how construction documents become an actual building.
This is a project-based role at approximately 20 hours per week, through November 2026 on this one project. We’re looking for someone eager to learn fast and contribute from day one.
Based in Seattle, WA.
INTRODUCTIONS FIRST
You
- Whether you’re newly graduated or early in your career, you’re eager for real, hands-on field experience.
- Are curious and detail-oriented—you want to understand how things actually get built.
- Show up ready to learn, ask good questions, and take feedback well.
- Are available now through November, on a consistent schedule of about twenty hours per week.
- Communicate clearly with the project team about what you’re seeing on-site.
- Are comfortable being physically present and active on a construction site.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Attend in-person punch walks on-site in Seattle alongside the project team.
- Observe and document field conditions against construction documents.
- Assist in evaluating materials and identifying discrepancies.
- Learn and apply current codes in a real-world field setting.
- Communicate observations clearly to the project team.
WHAT YOU BRING
Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, or equivalent coursework.
- Able to be physically on-site in Seattle for punch walks.
- Available now through November 2026, approximately twenty hours per week.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with Revit and construction documents.
- Any prior internship, studio, or field-observation exposure.
- Interest in multifamily or housing project types.
WHAT WE OFFER
Pay at $30–$33 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Project-based hourly role through November 2026.
*As a role under 30hrs per week, this position is not eligible for the firm’s standard benefits package.
