From March 31 – August 3, the first floor of Barnes Hall will receive necessary repairs/enhancements and will be closed to campus use. During this time, some career advising services and Office of National Fellowships will be relocated to Robert Purcell Community Center (RPCC) and Willard Straight Hall (WSH), respectively.
The second floor of Barnes Hall, including Employer Engagement, Profile Picture Kiosk, Interview Rooms, Wardrobe, and First-Generation, Low-Income Student Support will remain open and accessible.

Career Advising Appointments in Multiple Locations
- In-person appointments at RPCC – Career Advising Team members Mia Ferraina, Heather Fortenberry, Elaine Lu Hoffstaetter, Erica Ford, and Jessamyn Perlus can be found at Robert Purcell Community Center in Suite 201. Schedule with Career Services.
- In-person appointments with Engineering Career Support – Find Melissa Bazley, Helen Chandler, and the Engineering Peer Advisors in 210 Barnes Hall. Schedule with Engineering Career Support.
- Pre-Law and Pre-Grad appointments – Alex Jablonski and Dana Nowakowski will hold virtual appointments.
- Drop-Ins at RPCC – Open from 10:00am-noon and 1:00-4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Hosted by Peer Career Coaches through May 5th, 2026.

Office of National Fellowships in Willard Straight Hall
- Fellowships Staff – Find Krista Saleet and the Fellowships team on the 5th floor of Willard Straight Hall (Room 529) starting April 20th (virtual until then). Schedule a Fellowships appointment.

Barnes Hall Second Floor is Open
- Employer Engagement – The employer support team and on-campus interviews will take place in 210 Barnes Hall unless otherwise specified.
- Profile Picture Kiosk – Still open normally 8:30-4:00 M-F through May 22nd, 2026. Check back for summer hours.
- Reserve an Interview Room – Request an interview room if you have a virtual interview. Limited availability.
- Entering the Building – The entire first floor will be unavailable, so please enter through any of the access doors to the second floor.
- First Gen Low Income Student Support – The FGLI support office remains in 210 Barnes Hall.

- Are there any changes to virtual appointments? No, virtual appointments will be held normally.
- What if I accidentally go to the wrong location for an in-person appointment? Call us, we may be able to support you virtually or we can help you reschedule.
- When will you return to Barnes Hall? We anticipate the construction to finish by August 2026. We’ll update this page with our move-in details.
