Social Media Content & Analytics Specialist – Real Estate & Hospitality
Every Rental Strategy. One Operating System.
ABOUT GNG VACATION
GnG Vacation operates at the intersection of real estate, property management, and hospitality. We help property owners evaluate short-term, mid-term, and long-term rental strategies, then connect the work behind listings, pricing, guest and resident experience, maintenance, leasing, and reporting into one coordinated operating system.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a creative, visually driven, and analytically curious Social Media Content & Analytics Specialist to shape how GnG Vacation shows up across social media.
This role combines creative instinct with operating discipline. You will find stories worth telling, turn ideas into platform-native content, keep publishing organized and consistent, and study performance to decide what we should test next.
This is not a role for someone who only wants to brainstorm or only wants to prepare reports. We want someone who enjoys carrying an idea from the first concept through production, publication, measurement, and improvement. Bold, unexpected ideas are welcome when they are thoughtful, relevant, and well executed.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Help develop and manage content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
• Build and maintain platform-specific content calendars aligned with brand priorities, property stories, seasonal opportunities, and audience interests.
• Research platform trends, emerging formats, audience conversations, competitors, and relevant topics in real estate, rental housing, travel, and hospitality.
• Turn trends into original, brand-appropriate ideas rather than simply copying other accounts.
• Write and refine hooks, captions, short-form video scripts, headlines, calls to action, and supporting copy.
• Coordinate photos, videos, property information, brand assets, and source material needed for publication.
• Help produce and edit short-form videos, carousels, graphics, social posts, and other platform-native content.
• Review visual hierarchy, composition, typography, pacing, imagery, tone, and overall presentation before content is published.
• Schedule, publish, and quality-check content across channels.
• Maintain an organized library of approved assets, working files, captions, publishing records, and content-rights information.
• Track reach, watch time, retention, engagement, saves, shares, clicks, follower quality, inquiries, lead activity, and other relevant measures.
• Prepare concise weekly reports that explain what happened, why it may have happened, and what the team should test next.
• Support structured tests of hooks, thumbnails, formats, posting times, calls to action, creative direction, and audience positioning.
• Work with property operations, business development, and leadership to turn real company activity into clear and engaging stories.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Strong visual judgment and the ability to recognize when an image, layout, video, or piece of content feels polished and intentional.
• A portfolio that demonstrates original creative judgment. An accessible portfolio or work-sample link is required.
• Genuine interest in social media, content, branding, digital culture, and audience behavior.
• Curiosity, energy, initiative, and a willingness to bring forward bold or unconventional ideas.
• Ability to explain why a creative decision fits a particular audience, platform, and business objective.
• Strong written communication and an instinct for concise, engaging copy.
• Comfort working with performance data and using results to improve future content.
• Ability to manage calendars, files, approvals, deadlines, and multiple pieces of content at the same time.
• Willingness to receive feedback, revise work, and take ownership from concept through publication.
• Ability to work on-site in Pomona, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
HELPFUL, BUT NOT REQUIRED
• Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, or YouTube.
• Experience with short-form video editing, photography, graphic design, content scheduling, or social analytics.
• Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, platform-native editing tools, or comparable software.
• Exposure to Google Analytics, UTM tracking, dashboards, social-platform insights, or structured A/B testing.
• Experience with a student organization, personal brand, freelance project, internship, class project, or business account.
• Interest in real estate, architecture, interior presentation, hospitality, travel, or property management.
Professional agency experience and a particular major are not required. Students nearing graduation and recent graduates are welcome if they can meet the full-time on-site schedule. School projects, personal projects, independent accounts, and thoughtful concept work are welcome. What matters is whether the work demonstrates judgment, originality, attention to detail, and the ability to learn.
PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENT
Applicants must provide an accessible portfolio link containing three to five relevant examples. Applications without accessible work samples cannot move forward.
Examples may include social posts or carousels, short-form videos or edited reels, photography or visual storytelling, a brand concept or campaign, a content calendar, a social account you helped manage, or a performance case study.
For at least two examples, briefly explain:
• The audience and objective
• The platform or intended format
• What you personally created or decided
• Any result, feedback, or lesson learned
We evaluate work samples on visual judgment and composition, originality and brand thinking, platform-native execution, measurement mindset, and clarity of personal contribution. Generic templates without a clear explanation of your contribution are not sufficient.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
• Content is published consistently and accurately across the right channels.
• The brand feels visually coherent without becoming repetitive.
• Ideas are original, platform-aware, and connected to a real audience.
• Reporting goes beyond likes and views to identify useful patterns and next steps.
• Each campaign or content series produces a clear learning, test, or improvement.
• Creative files, calendars, approvals, and performance records remain organized.
• Over time, you take increasing ownership of content planning, execution, and optimization.
SCHEDULE AND LOCATION
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including a one-hour lunch break.
On-site at 981 Corporate Center Dr Ste. 215, Pomona, CA 91768.
GnG Vacation evaluates applicants based on job-related qualifications, demonstrated ability, and potential to succeed in the role. We are an equal opportunity employer.
