Office of Career and Professional Development

The Graduate School Office of Career and Professional Development helps research degree graduate students in all fields and postdoctoral scholars to explore various career options through individual advising, workshops, and experiential learning opportunities. We strive to empower students, strengthen skill development and professional preparation, demystify the job search process, and connect students to opportunities and resources useful to their career interests.

Within the office, we have programs and consultations emphasizing preparation for the professoriate and academic careers, careers beyond academia that are possible with a Ph.D., and successful pursuit of postdoctoral training.
