Director (ILR School)
I’ve had the privilege of working with ILR students and alumni for more than decades. Prior to ILR, I worked in residence life including serving as an RHD in Donlon Hall, where I am currently a Community Fellow. I studied Psychology and Organizational Behavior at SUNY Geneseo, and then completed a Master’s in Education at Alfred University. I love working with students and helping them discover their strengths, interests, and what they want to do with the ILR degree. When asked what I do for a living, I say that I work with young people who are destined for greatness and don’t know it yet. I was born and raised in India and then lived in Queens, NY and Monroe, NY before going to college in Western NY. college. My two daughters are rising seniors, one at the local high school, and the other at Cornell’s Nolan School’ 26. In my spare time, I enjoy perfecting my skills at a local pottery studio, socializing with friends and family, and watching various binge-worthy streaming shows.

ILR has been my home for nearly three years now. As an Ithaca local and a graduate of Dryden and Morrisville and having worked just about every job under the sun, I bring a blend of experiences that gives me a more nuanced view of careers and the job market.
What drives me most is helping people, and my door is always open if you ever need anything. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me with my dog, playing Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, or whatever board game is on the table, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
You can usually find me in Ives 201—feel free to stop by and say hi!

Senior Associate Director (ILR School)
I am an introvert who loves people—which is not the oxymoron that it seems! When it was time to head to college, I was a first-gen student and did not know what I wanted to do, and I graduated still not having a clear idea or path. I held several different positions at Cornell that ultimately led me to ILR and OCS. My path has come full circle, and I love my role guiding ILR students as they explore their interests and plan their next steps. It’s a joy to work with ILRies, who arrive with more experience and skill than they usually realize and will have great impact in their chosen areas. Outside of work, I enjoy practicing and growing my knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL), coffee chats with friends and family, re-learning Spanish on Duolingo, reading cozy mysteries, and finding the best dark chocolate (candy) and chocolate cakes.
