TAP is a program that is working to mitigate the teacher shortage by helping candidates with a bachelor’s degree or about to obtain their bachelor’s degree transition into education.
TAP begins with the University Course, followed by a summer training program, support for temporary certification, a full-time teaching position, and ongoing mentorship. The stipend for this six-week summer training is ~$5,000.
